You can find Lola’s Cupcakes all over London, most likely inside a train or tube station. They are great for when you have an after-work craving but also if you order a cake or box of cupcakes for collection, the fact that you can pick them up on your way is very useful.
Lola’s have a few different vegan options, usually the same flavours in their cakes and cupcakes. My favourite is the Chocolate layered with Cherry compote topped with Pistachio. I’ve tried this in both its forms and am a serious fan… I love the mini cupcakes specially, because you can (but probably shouldn’t) eat them in one go!
Lola’s also have Chocolate Fudge, Strawberry topped Vanilla, Raspberry filled lemon and Passion Fruit cakes and cupcakes as well as a selection of brownies. I love the playfulness with different flavours.
It can also be fun to get their Cupcake decorating kits. I’ve tried them out for Valentine’s day and to be honest I ate more of the ganache than I put on the cupcakes but it was still quite a cute and entertaining activity!
