Honest Burger

A few years ago, I heard someone raving about Honest Burger, I didn’t know what they were talking about. Then, within the span of six months (give or take), there was an Honest Burger in every corner of London. It took them a couple of years to bring out a vegan option, but they got there eventually, they currently have two: Plant and Bacon Plant, pretty descriptive names.

I have only tried the Plant burger, it’s served with smoked Gouda (vegan), chipotle ‘mayo’, red onion and pickles, and is of course served with their famous rosemary salted chips. The patty is ‘fake meat’ style, I’ve mentioned before, it’s not my preference in a burger. The overall taste is good, so if you don’t mind the texture and feeling of meat, then go for it!

Honest Burger isn’t my favourite place to go for a burger, but if it’s the only place around, or my companions really want to go there, I won’t decline the opportunity. I would like to see a bean-type patty!
