The Polecat Inn

You might remember my earlier post about The Beech House, these establishments, as well as the Polecat Inn are owned by Oakman Inns & Restaurants group, so the menu is very similar. The Polecat Inn is designed to be a contemporary pub, as you walk in, you can sense the family oriented atmosphere.

As in its sister restaurants, the Polecat has many vegan options in their menu, I won’t repeat those that are identical to The Beech House, but here are a few of the different dishes…

• The Vegano Pizza – a No-beef meatball option on a bed of veggies
• No-beef burger
• Chocolate Torte – with honeycombe pieces
• Bombolone – I suggest you visit them for this dish alone. Not-too-small Doughnut with chocolate sauce for dipping. They are delicious!

I enjoy having an eatery nearby where I know I have the choice to eat something different every time I go. I also really appreciate their different dessert vegan options. To be honest, they are some of the best vegan desserts I’ve tried. They definitely don’t compromise on taste.
