My local pub and a the perfect place to end a long dog walk. The Crown is always a good choice, I have no complaints. The staff are always pleasant and you can rest assured you will find vegan options on their menu (including dessert!)
As you probably guessed I usually order their Vegan burger– made with a Beyond Meat patty, they incorporate siracha roasted cauliflower which takes it to the next level. It is honestly one of my favourite burgers out there and I eat it with huge pleasure.
Of course, that is not all they offer – if you visit them on a Sunday you can opt for their Woodland mushroom bourguignon Wellington roast, I promise you won’t regret it! They also have a variety of dishes such as a couple of salads, soup, Chickpea curry, Mushroom and Ale pie, to name a few. Their menu changes with the seasons, but you can rest assured, there’s something for everyone.
To finish off your meal, please leave room for dessert, they switch it up, but my all-time favourite was their Mocha torte which is TO DIE FOR.
